The Sudbury Community Foundation considers applications for funding from all registered charities and qualified not-for-profits in the Sudbury area. Grants are awarded to meet community needs and donor's priorities. Grant deadlines for Stage I application submission is March 1st of each year. A Stage II application is invited from those applications meeting the Stage I requirements.

With a focus on grants that help build our community, the Foundation strives to distribute critically placed awards that are both effective and imaginative. Although not able to support every request for funding, the Foundation is often able to be an effective catalyst for change by creating a bridge with other funders, donors, and community groups.

In order to be considered for funding, applicants are asked first to carefully review our granting guidelines.
